(no subject)
so, i'm applying to starbucks, and at this point am really annoyed with this whole application thing. one of the questions reads:
"what do you like about coffee?"
really? i like absolutely nothing about coffee... but could i write that?
hm... hypothetical conversation in my head when i call back about the job...
me: so, is there a possibility that i could have an interview for this position?
guy: well, actually, we saw here that you wrote that you don't like coffee. specifically, that there is nothing you like about it.
me: i could still sell it though!
guy: ummm... we prefer our employees to have some knowledge about what we sell.
me: well, i suppose that might be a problem... but i know lots of people that like coffee! so i could just see what they like and maybe...
guy: ...i'm sorry. you're just not right for this job...
me: ...i like tea?...
guy: ...and we are going to have to decline your application.
me: oh ok, well, thanks anyways...

on second thought, maybe i'll just apply at hobby lobby instead
