well today was hotrod's first day of kindergarten. had to stay up a little later than i wanted to label all of his school supplies. the following is the list of supplies i had to put his name or initials on:
10 pencils
8 gluesticks
1 bottle elmers glue
1 pair scissors
2 folders
1 spiral notebook (70 pages)
1 box crayola crayons (16 count)
2 boxes crayola washable markers (8 count)
1 big pink eraser
10 little erasers that fit over the end of the pencil
1 cigar sized box to contain some of said supplies
3 large boxes of kleenex (didnt have to label this)
1 bottle of hand sanitizer (didnt have to label this)
1 teenage mutant ninja turtle backpack (the kind with wheels that he can put behind him - this item was not required of course but he wanted a new backpack)
granted this didnt take too long but was a pain in the ass to have to label each pencil, marker, and glue stick individually. thank god i didnt have to do the crayons. today was the first time he has taken lunch to school with him. he will prob. eat his desert first and not even touch the rest.
