Jack and I are headed to Montreal this weekend. The Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir is doing their annual series of Christmas concerts downtown at St James United Church, and they are fricking awesome. I'm not religious, but I love a gospel choir at Christmas.
Jack is lovely, because although he enjoys the choir, it's really more my thing. Nonetheless, he indulges my desire to run off to Montreal for the night to go see them.
Will be flying Westjet for the first time to get there. For some reason, I have always avoided Westjet, which is odd because Air Canada is hardly the world's greatest airline. Porter Airlines rocks, but their Sat. and Sun schedules aren't as good, and due to the mysteries of airline fares, this time Porter was going to be $300 more expensive than Westjet. It means driving out to Pearson on Saturday morning, rather than taking the subway to the Toronto Island airport, but these things can't be helped.
