All of us here at the Daily Prophet would like to join the flood of well wishers welcoming Katerina Gloria Markovna Tonks Dolohova-Snape and Ivan Theodore Markovich Tonks Dolohov-Snape to the Wizarding World. Born to Marcellus Pyotrivich Dolohov-Snape and Nymphadora Violet Tonks Dolohova-Snape on April 18th, these two remarkable children are rumored to already be showing signs of being metamorphmagi, which as you know, loyal readers, is quite impressive at so young an age.
The grandparents of these young prodigies are Ted and Andromeda Tonks of Islington, England, Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy of Hogsmeade, Scotland and Finola McLendon Dolohova of London, England. The godparents are Victor Krum of Sofia, Bulgaria, Draco Malfoy of Hogsmeade, Scotland, Harry Potter of Hogsmeade, Scotland and Kingsley Shakelbolt of London, England.
Our readers will certainly remember the heroic role that Nymphadora filled during the last wars, as well as the more recent brushes with the law that her husband has had. For this reason, the new family is occupying a humble flat rather than the larger dwellings that our wizarding elite is more accustomed to. One certainly hopes that these new children will take after their mother rather than their father when it comes to the law! This humble correspondent is sure that the heroic persons filling the ranks of their grandparents and godparents will serve admirably to keep them from a life of crime.
There are questions, however, as to whether these adorable metamorphmagi will live long enough to reach their amazingly high potential. It is rumored that Bellatrix Lestrange, Nymphadora's aunt through her mother's side, escaped murderess, recent torturer of our hero Harry Potter and ardent supporter of You-Knew-Who, snuck into the wedding reception two weeks ago today. While guests looked on in frozen astonishment, she cursed the unborn children not to live past the age of 16! One must ask, loyal readers, how it could be that in a crowd filled with war heroes and aurors, not a single person could prevent her not only from casting the horrific curse but escaping as well? Have our heroes fallen out of practice?
Whatever future these two talented little ones grow up in, we here at the Daily Prophet welcome them warmly and wish them the best of luck!
