Well, she didnt destroy anything while i was at work (including herself). Steam cleaning the carpet from this morning i guess will have to wait.

My parents are coming tomorrow night for dinner... I'm not liking that idea as much as i should.. my guess for topics of conversation go about like this:
1. You're not working too much are you (yes, i am), your grades arent suffering because of working are they (no, they're not), are you taking care of yourself (when on earth would i have time to do that), maybe your parents could help you out just a little bit more (i never have asked for money and never will, plus a 'little bit' wont cut it. I bring in an extra $500 a month working part time)
2. have you applied for jobs yet (no), where are you living (dont know), who are you living with (dont know that either), you're not considering living with 'some boy' are you? (god forbid)
3. You aren't dating are you? it sounds like you dont have time for such nonsense, and you know that if we send you money, we dont want you spending it on trips to northern virginia that we dont approve of anyway (insert various gripes about everyone i've ever dated here)
And then we might actually eat.
coming attractions. boy oh boy.

Wow i'm a downer.

On a better note, my weekend was remarkable. I was sick as a dog, and still had a very good time. Friday I came home, went out to a very nice dinner with my aunt, came back home, medicated myself, and went to bed. I slept for probably 15 hours, woke up, called in sick to work, and slept some more. Got up, cleaned my house in its entirety including scrubbing floors, cleaning the fridge, all the dishes, and the deck, did my laundry, all the things i hadnt had time for. In the evening, Chris came, we had popcorn for dinner because neither of us needed more than that (what awesome friends i have), we watched a boy movie (Batman, whichever one is the new one), and went to bed. I love falling asleep with someone, it's so much nicer, no matter what. He left first thing the next morning (had church), I got all my lesson plans for the week done, and then Damien came. We made sure my dog didnt intend to kill him, which took a little while, then we went hiking at the river. It was gorgeous, it didnt rain, and time with him was, as always, the best part of my day. We had a nice dinner out, had what im hoping he thought was a good talk, and we went our separate ways.
I didnt sleep last night much because breathing was more and more of a problem. I finally got the coughing to a minimum after a second dose of medicine and piling up pillows so i could sleep sitting up. I'm starting to think bronchitis, but im going to give it a couple more days and see what it does.

And now im home from a crazy night at work. We have a huge sale coming up, a crop this friday, and three shipments coming in to replace discontinued stuff. so basically my night consisted of "you see all the stuff on this wall? move it to that wall." and i got to catch up all their inventory discounting in the computer because the day shift people are more computer illiterate than i am, which i didnt think existed. So i am writing plans for next week, getting things together for lessons tomorrow, and making sure the house is still up to parent visiting standards (which are higher than friends visiting standards.. seems a little wrong to me, but oh well). Then i will medicate heavily and hopefully get some sleep. breathing is good.

Goodnight all.
Love.
