Lili bought a Tivo the other day...it's TV evolved! Best salesman quote. It's kinda cool to pause the show you are watching and rewind. The scary thing is it's learning! It starts with recording shows it thinks you would like when you're not around then it moves onto bigger things after getting ideas from T2. Anyway it cost us $30, with rebates so it was worth it.
Saw Turbonegro & the International Noise Conspiracy at the Fillmore last night. Lili drove so I could drink. It was probably the first time in 3 years that I just really let loose, ran up to the front and pumped my fist along to Hank and crew! I was having a good time and was soaked in other people's dirty sweat, unfortunatly I was so caught up I left Lili alone for about 50 minutes. It wasn't good, but we still had a enjoyed the rest of the show. Hank talked alot about SF and had some good classic gay by the bay sailor flirting with the audience going on. We got 2 Turbonegro bucks that they dropped from the ceiling; one with Rune and one with Euroboy, and the Fillmore always hooks up a free poster, which is actually a cool looking for once. Definately check out INC if they are in the area; they are really well rehearsed but they put alot of energy into it. The singer did a Roth kick off a 6 foot Marshall stack for Gwads sake! He also pulled some amazing mic tricks...throwing the stand and spinning the mic and shit.
It's been nice talking about something other than work for the first time in awhile! I'll try to get back to LJ more often and MySpace less. Later.
