Here's to experience.
Well I've moved on from UCSC to Berkeley in order to further enrich my educational experience. I have been in and out of this place since Saturday and I still haven't met any of housemates yet. Well, one but he wasn't much of a talker so he doesn't count. My roommate's shit is here now, but I haven't seen him around either. It's boring sitting around just waiting. A new place = I have to meet people over again. Should be fun but I'm fucking tired.
I dropped off Lili at Oakland Int. airport earlier today. It's going to be really weird not having her around. She's been by my side for over a year now and we probably haven't been apart from each other for more than three days tops in that whole time. She seems to be taking it harder than me, that's because I have plenty to keep me busy with.
Berkeley is fucking huge! We spent the first day driving the perimeter of the school for near two hours looking for my check in site. No easy signs to help show you around here..I guess they just expect you to be smart or something and know exactly where to go. UCSC is user-friendly compared to this place! There are like 200 different halls; all of them are huge, over -designed, and intimidating...east coast style. It's a cool town though; chilled out, stylish, and intellectual. We'll see how things turn out.
