another sunday at work
alright. first off, this weekend has simply been amazing. shit has happened that i never saw coming, but i guess i should have expected it. i think in time, we'll all look back and chuckle over the stupid shit we tripped over. besides all that, this weekend was actually pretty good since friday started off with a bang (minimum day :D).
me and michael left 6th early since we had a sub who was really zoned out. i had to get my brake pads replaced, so we went to the firestone place by kfc on fremont boulevard. i parked my car and me and michael started walking into the store. i wasnt really paying attention, but michael grabs my shoulder and points to the corner. there was a guy who looked like lau (same haircut and statute), standing in the corner. we fucking freaked out and ran outside, back into my car. i wasnt totally sure if it was him, so i looked at the cars up on the jacks and bingo! theres a green camry -_- somehow, i got all carefree and told michael that he wouldnt give a shit and we went back into the store. as we walked in, he sees us, looks at his watch and has the wtf look on his face. you guys have no idea how much fun we were having at this point. he asked us if we were supposed to be in class and we replyed that the sub let us out. he does his usual "jesus christ!" thing and shakes his head. anyway, i went over and got my inspection thing paid for. we were waiting for chris and daniel so we had time to talk to lau. he shows off the new 100 dollar tires he'd just bought and we kept messing with him (as always).
they(chris, denise, james, jen, daniel, jeremy, johnny) finally arrived around 1230 and i drove chris' car over to dennys in pleasanton. i was fucking starving since i didnt eat anything in the morning, ate some shitload of breakfast food. then we went to the mall and hung out till about 330. we got back pretty tired but i had to still pick up my car since i got a quote for 210 for brake pad replacement! i didnt wanna waste that kinda money, so i called up nick and gordon who came over around 630 and worked on my car till about 745. we got the rear left tire off and the pads off, but the fucking piston didnt budge. there was a wierd X indentation which we needed to turn and no one had a scredriver that big, so gordon just moved the ear indicator out of the way to stop the screeching noise and assembled the brakes back together, atleast until we get a tool to recess the piston. (we're prolly gonna work on that tomorrow)
once that was done, i ate quickly and went over to this one person's house, who wasnt there. but w/e. me, chris, james and tao went for a drive up 84 until about 1045. james and tao were pretty tired, so they went home and chris and johnny came over and we watched some of chappelle's killing them softly. chris began to doze off halfway into the show, so we decided to kill it after the first show. johnny was craving some 7/11, so went to the one mission and washington and got some hot dogs. i began to freak out since there were hella cops around and im paranoid about my tints.. but luckily, some poor bastard got caught speeding.
after dropping the two at home, i went back to my house and chilled till about 2, discussing the japanese car industry with michael. dont ask me why.. i dont know.
i slept for a nice, long time and woke up around 1030 to find my parents gone to some recital shit. i lazed around in bed for a bit and then decided that i needed to clean my car ( i felt pretty shitty after seeing the condition of gordon's car on friday) and began to wash it for the next 2 hours. i looked inside the car and realized that it needed some vaccuming and that was another hour or so, in addition to the leather conditioner shit. my mom called me a little later and told me to get some food before leaving, so i headed over to subway and got a nice chicken bacon ranch :D. i shot back home and showered since it was almost 2. i got to jason's house about 210 when michael was already there. jeremy and chris arrived in a little bit and we left for sf, with me as the driver :) and tao as navigator around 220.
it took almost an hour and half to get to the restaurant, kokkari. it was in kind of an obscure place, so that was kinda wierd too - trying to find it. they were closed to prepare for dinner or w/e but we walked in and i asked the bartender if we could look around. he agreed and we took some pics (i need to get them from jason). i really liked the ambience...

i think we, well the ppl who picked the greek place, did a good job. anyway, after that, we drove up to regency which was kind of wierd with hobos n shit on the sidewalks and it kinda smelled funky. we tried to get inside, but the doors were locked and we were too lazy to try to ask anyone. then we drove over to the beaches and that was kind of disappointing. it was really windy, so the fucking sand flew up and started hitting us in the faces. we couldnt even look at the damn sea -_- hopefully its gonna be better on the morning of june 4th.
we left the city around 515 and drove back.. some stupid cobalt tried to show off his retarded driving skills and i kinda handed him his ass (i mean, there were fucking 5 ppl in chris' car while he was the only one in his) and he did a ricer flyby - kinda funny to see domestics do that and took some exit. bitch. anyway, we got back around 630 when i was supposed to go to lelands house for the bbq, but my mom called me and wanted me to come home. -_-
we decided to have some dinner together and i bought some chinese, quickly ate and left, much to my parents' pissed-offedness. i went over to lelands around 830 and hung out for a bit. he got 40 year old virgin and we wwatched that. it was good to finally see the movie as in all of it. i only saw the end part last time. we headed back home around 1130 and my mom screamed at me for a bit, threatened to take away my computer, car and cell phone (i understand, shes prolly missing me for college *shrug*) but calmed down.
anyway, i stayed up for a bit, chatting with ppl and chomping on the chinese takeout that i had bought a couple of hours earlier. goddamn that was good. i ate it all though -_- it was supposed to suffice for the next day. anyway, my mom woke m e up at 6am and made me fill up her tank and check air pressure. they left for a yosemite daytrip earlier today and that was preppping i guess. i had to get some more shit from safeway and but the time they left, it was already 730 and my eyes were still droopy -_- i fell asleep about 8am and woke up intermittently with my alarm and phone going off every 30min or so. after about 930, i got pissed and put the damn thing on silent (im a genius arent i?) and went back to a restful sleep until about 1215 :D
i quickly showered, heated up some leftovers from last night and chowed down. i left home about 1pm and got to work. now, im still at work, with an hour and half left till closing. i think we're gonna hang out a bit tonight... no idea what to do though. any suggestions?
