The first sentence of your post got me really confused... as far as I can see, s_dupree is not registered from what I can see, and icons do show up in comments.

yeah that's what it says but when you try to create the journal it says it's reserved and i can't see my icons in comments so i don't know :-[ ps i want to ask you a question on aim, are you around?

You mean like when you write a journal entry, and you have a drop-down menu in which you can select an icon and it'll show up before you hit "Post Comment"? Yeah, I guess that would be helpful.
