Yeah, I should have posted some sort of year-end wrap-up before January 1st, but I've been busy. A lot of great and amazing things have happened this year, the best of which is that Matt asked me to marry him. Felix also began getting treatment for feline diabetes, which seems like a bad thing, except he's so much healthier and happier now than he was a year ago that is is actually a good thing. We moved to New Jersey, which I wouldn't exactly put in the good things category, but moving to Jersey has given me the opportunity to have a great job at a sports and entertainment arena that wouldn't have been possible in Philly. I also realized today that since I don't live in Philly anymore, I haven't had to pretend to care about football. Even working at a pro hockey rink isn't even remotely as sports-centric as living in Philadelphia was. Weird, huh? So now I'm working a lot at a job I enjoy, living in an apartment I love in a cute town where I don't have to comment about the Eagles to keep from being beaten up and I've met some great people up here. Granted, I really miss my friends from Philadelphia, but I miss my friends from a lot of places and it hasn't stopped me from remaining friends with them. I love my Matt, I love my Felix, and I think my 30s are going to be pretty rocking. Especially as I get to be Auntie Amber to more and more young children.
