my candy cane story
i was just looking at some old pictures and i saw one of me in a very lovely and tacky christmas sweater and i reminded me of that night and a very funny thing that happened.
I was standing with a group of girls and this guy that none of us even knew came up and started giving us each a complement on something we were wearing and when he got to me mine was "i like your candy cane!" and he gave me an odd look at the same time. i didn't really think much of it because a) i didn't even know this person and b) i was wearing a pretty loud sweater. but for the life of me i couldn't think of what he meant. candy cane? was there a candy can on my christmas sweater? i guess there must have been but idk why he would like that because it wouldn't have even been the man part of the sweater but whatever i guess. then a little while later he was going to leave us and when he did he went and grabbed a candy cane that was hanging on the collar of my sweater and walked about. i was completely comfused. was that candy cane really on my sweater this whole time...or did he pull a magic trick like pulling a quarter out of someones ear? turns out i had been walking around with a candy cane hanging onto my sweater for a while but the real question is how it got there. to this day i have no idea who put it there and how i didn't notice i'll never been able to know.
