Tonight I've hit a personal record by running over 10 kilometers (approx. 8 miles). I've never managed to run that kind of a distance and what's most surprising is that after that I wasn't even very tired, nowhere near as much as I would've been like half a year after running half that distance.
Felt like I could've ran at least 5 km more...but I'd rather get to that level gradually rather put myself through some shock therapy. It isn't really good on the knees :P
So I think I am definetely doing the Leeds 10k Run this July...gonna be practicing hard so maybe I can finish in the top half past the finish line. It is so awesome to see such a massive boost in my fitness level, I never even imagined I could get that far. But I'm hungry croc and want moar :D
