Go ahead buddy. Make your sarcastic comments alluding me to be naive and ignorant. Maybe if you took time to notice, you would see that I am actually intelligent for my age, and not just book smart. I am not on of those teenagers that likes to let their brain rot. Tear my jokes apart because they aren't politically correct. Go ahead and treat me in a condescending manner in front of my peers. I don't really care what they think. They can make their own judgment. Make my day.
None of this troubles me. You may be trying to demoralize me or maybe this is just how you treat everyone. Either way this isn't really hurting me. If you keep doing this, you won't get very far in life. What troubles me is that you are in a position of authority and are not showing the same amount of respect to everyone. In my book that is inexcusable.
As much as this gets on my nerves, I will not retort. Two reasons. The first is that you are in a position of authority and that would be disrespectful. Two, and mostly, that would bring me down to your level. I would like to be a better person than that.
