Well it's that time of the year again.

It's time to say good-bye to seniors and time to welcome the sophomores. I will have a particularly hard time saying good bye to the seniors of this year. I have been in classes and known so many of them for so long, it will be weird not having them at school anymore. This makes me wonder, what will it be like when we graduate? I am excited to be a senior and also a little nervous. I want to make sure I live high school up to its fullest, I don't want to regret anything. I don't want to let petty differences stop us from letting us live our lives.

As for the seniors that graduated last year, do I still miss them? Of course. They will always hold a special place in my heart. When I came to Dobson two years ago, I was befriended by all the upper classmen. That's how it will always be in my memory, even though now I am an upper classman.

With both classes gone that welcomed me to Dobson, it feels weird. Truly, it does. I am used to seeing the same faces around the A-Building every morning for A-hour or Symphonic Band. I am used to seeing those familiar faces in the halls. The people who I can high five in the hallway.

It truly will de different next year. We are the seniors. We are the people who influence a lot of the students. I don't know if I am ready.
