Thank you again by your support! I am blown away by what a nice collective group of women you are. I wish I could throw you all a party.
Morella is doing better. Yesterday she was what I would describe as "Sunday Morella" She was whiny, in pain but alert. She did eat some food, but didn't drink anything. I am hoping that today brings us a Friday Morella --- where she played, smiled, had a great appetite and was only minimally fussy. Her white blood counts (on three blood draws) have progressively gone down. Yesterday the goo leaked from her ear all day (good) and this morning they flushed it out, and cleaned her nose. In fact, she could probably go home today -- if she drinks.
She hasn't had anything to drink in two days. A part of that is because she has been on IV's, but they turned down the fluids last night so this morning she should hopefully be thirsty.
Tim spend the night here last night while I went home, cleaned most of the house, had a beer, a shower and then went to bed. I laid in the middle because that is what you are supposed to do when you have the whole bed to yourself. ;) I slept pretty good and now I feel totally refreshed. I am glad that I get to go home to a house that isn't a complete wreck either. It's SO sucky to go home to a messy house that has all the signs laying about as to why you have been gone. You know? Food scattered here and there, sippy cups on almost every surface, books all over the couch, pink kitty half under the couch, her crib sheet full of snot and dried salt lakes of tears...
Oh she's awake again and it's time for breakfast, medicine, ear drops and ... maybe she gets her arm cast taken off.
