D-CREEK report:
How can Joey be so stupid? How is it her (love) interest changes from episode to episode? How can she not see Charlie for what he really is? She comes across as the “quasi-feminist”, feels strongly about men and their hookups’ with women, and falls for the same shit she campaigns against. She tends to try and find good in people and that’s a good thing. However, in Chuckie’s case there is not much good to find. Which is why it’s easy to see. She doesn’t recognize his pattern of behavior or does she realize his agenda. Joey says he cheated on Jen, and others, because he was “scared”. Ya! He was scared alright . . . scared of each girl finding out about the other! He’s a pig. Period. And what’s this shit about him being attractive??? He’s a thin as a door, no body to speak of, and hair from Tina Turner’s old closet of cut wigs. Speaking of bad hair, what the hell was the deal with Joey’s short term interest / classmate with the whiskbroom hairdo? And someone should hand Oliver a comb!
Joey’s men are adding up. She should be learning something from all those experiences. Since I’ve been watching the show - there was Dawson, Jack, some college guy, Pacey, Dawson again, her teacher, her classmate, charlie
And Audrey’s numbers . . . 27, 57, 5 ???
And to the show’s director . . . when you bring people on the show to portray a celebrity, get people who don’t have shitty hair, or else get a new hairstylist for the show! Jack’s been the only male cast member with decent hair, Dawson’s wasn’t bad at the beginning of college, but has since gone to shit. And Pacey….pacey, pacey, pacey. PLEASE do something! I think I’ve already addressed Oliver & Charlie. Then there was Joey’s classmate and teacher….God awful hair! All the females have great hair! What’s the problem?
Jeesh, Jack. Things aren’t that bad. You’ll be fine. Maybe it feels like you’ve done everything wrong, and the easiest thing would be to start over. You feel your world crashing down around you; you’re staring up from the bottom of a deep, dark well. But the fact of the matter is that there is a way out. Sure, there’s any easy way. Then there’s the hard way, which requires work, and time, and commitment. But in the end, it’s all worthwhile. You just can’t start over. You are where you are. Put your foot forward and do the work.
