Sunshine and Happiness
Today was a very good day. The sun was out and it was gorgeous. I drove my sister to her driving lesson, and while I was waiting for her i went to Starbucks and read a paper and had my caffeine. While reading the paper I discovered two things: caffeine is really bad for you if you have high blood pressure, and the liberals, NDP, and Bloc joined together to pass the budget bill, much to the Conservatives' chagrin. This is not good news... I love my caffeine, and apparently I should be giving it up. But, the budget bill was a good thing, even though I am surprised (somewhat) by the Bloc's change of opinion. They do want the same-sex legislation passed, and the budget bill does have some things in it that they want done, but they were firmly against the budget bill, and the government. The conservatives just got betrayed though. That is another blow which they really do not need, and I have a feeling the conservatives will not easily forgive the Bloc for this betrayal.
