Today was my first day at work. It wasn't too bad. I think I made a million pizza crusts! I have a feeling by the end of the summer I am going to hate pizza. Now I am very tired and looking forward to blessed sleep! Oddly enough, my back hurts. You would not believe how much muscle in your arms it takes to make a pizza crust! It really surprised me. I think I need to increase the amount of weights I lift. But, i'll have nice arms by the end of summer.

Apparently I have been carrying around quite a lot of baggage from the past few years. Of which I think i'm finally realizing, which is one step closer to getting rid of it. After all, keeping around all the stuff from the people that hurt you just makes it keep affecting you. It makes it worse; getting rid of that is like saying you can't do that any more. Josh was...well, a lot of years ago... i think like four by now. And Kyle a whole year.

Oddly enough, part of me wishes that that stupid budget vote had not passed. It would have been fun to have more election stuff to get into, maybe help with a campaign. I mean, it was better for everyone (well, except Stephen Harper, that hurt him) for us to not have one. I missed Politics today. Bah. But, as a consolation, it will be interesting to see what happens once the BC legislature starts up, what happens with the cabinet, and the oppotition. I am excited for the big opposition. And both Campbell and Carole James said they will look at some type of electoral reform, since clearly BC'ers want some sort of reform. I think the threshold should have been lower for reform. I mean, 57%, plus most of the ridings passing it, clearly shows that BC wanted to change to that system and understand it enough to say yes (that or they were just sick of how things are now, which is also very likely). I would have liked to see it tried out. It's interesting, other provinces are starting to follow in our footsteps. I think it was ... Manitoba?(feel free to correct me if i'm wrong) that was trying something similar, but a Multi-Member riding system, which frankly seems more complicated than this one, even though he claimed it was easier than our BC-STV proposed system. Well, that was my politics fix for today, I feel better now!
