Being able to say I saw Little Nell trash Jessica Harper...priceless
So...con was pretty much legendary. I feel like between Nicole and Dana it's been properly recapped, but here are some of my personal favorite moments:
- Gambling with Patricia Quinn and having her tell me all about her time as a blackjack dealer at the Playboy Club.
- "Ron Maxwell Approved" stickers, which are still all over my clothes
- Winning lots and lots of money at poker, and lots in slots too
- Having birds steal my fries from Tom on the boardwalk.
- Shock Treatment. I love Shock Treatment.
- Pretty much everything about the Shock Treatment open bar, and everything that resulted from the Shock Treatment open bar...you know, except the fighting and everyone vomiting...but other than that, ridiculous, absurd, crazy good time
- We're going to combine that last one into "The Drunken shit show that was Friday night"
- On that note, dancing to crazy music with Pat Quinn and Little Nell
- Further on that note, Tom Flavors puked on Emily Weiss
- Dana and Nicole the morning after Shock Treatment..."Have you seen the jukebox?" "I licked it!"...Little Nell's sandwich demands..."I'm not leaving my room until I get a side of beef and a flame thrower!" (Though my favorite part was still the flame thrower explanation..."To cook it!")...there are probably more, but I was laughing to hard to hear them
- The House of Blues...just in general
- Talking to Bayne during Rocky...I miss him A LOT, I wish I saw him more.
- Bitching with Michelle as only we can
- The unofficial point tally (what's the preshow worth?)
- Tom's philosophical good cast/bad cast adaptation of Shock Treatment
- And, finally, the Mardi Gras band playing the Muppet Song. Twice.
But, really, I was just so happy to get away from the stressful, hell-like vortex of New York, be with my friends who I love dearly, see sparkly costumes, watch movies a I know better than my own life, get absurdly drunk, make bad decisions, and just ignore life for a while. I never get vacations, and this one was perfect.
