King Arthur
This week my question is going to be based on the movie I just saw today. The movie I saw was King Arthur and yes it was a good movie. It wasn't great but was good enough and worth my 7 bucks. I wish I could have seen it with someone else who did want to see it but that is neither here nor there. In fact it is no where for reasons I will never understand....*thinks to himself*
Anyways, the questions I post this week is what kind of hero would you choose to be? There are two types of heros in which to choose from.
Would you rather be the hero that I guess can be closely described as the fairytale hero. The hero that faces the great evil, defeats it, and gets the girl and lives out his life. The type of story where they say and he live happily ever after. It doesn't neccisarily mean he got the girl or it has to be a guy of course but he completes his mission and then is able to reap the fruits of his labor
or
Would you rather be the hero that selflessly gives his life to his whole purpose whether it be literally dying for his cause or a figurative speech. Either way he is born to face the evil set before him and thats it. He is not to reap the fruits of his labor.
You can compare the first hero as the disney heros, spiderman, supermans, Aragon, james bonds, indian jones, etc.
or
You can compare the second hero as the armageddons, matrix, braveheart, gladiators, etc.
The first hero's usually get the girl and live out their lives with love while the second hero's find their love within what they do and in the end sacrifice everything for their love and dedication.
So my question is...Which one would oyu rather be. Hero A? or Hero B?
P.S. just wondering...which one do you think I would be or want to be?
