So... I finally got my skates fitted!!!! WOHOO!!!! I decided to explore all the options and this is what I decided to get.

~ Boots ~

Custom Klingbeil boots... Fitted to my own feet... Strong enough for triples!

~ Blades ~

Pattern 99 Parabolic Blades with a K-pick.

Parabolic - Thinner in the middle and fatter at the ends for nicer edges, more centered spins, and nicer take offs on jumps.

K - Pick - For more stable toe jumps, higher and longer jumps.

I kind of agonized over the parabolic blades for a little bit because of the fact that I didn't get real good reviews for them. I analyzed the way they work and it made a lot of sense to me. For the amount of edge work I do, it kinda makes sense to try them. I went ahead with it. We will see how it works!! I am VERY EXCITED!!

~ A little story... ~

Most of you know that I got the skates that I'm using now for christmas about three years ago. What some of you don't know is that my old car, my Spirit (A moment of silence please...), died in the parking lot the day that I picked up my skates. Well, I made the appointment to get my skates fitted, and the "Check Coolant" light came on in my car. I checked it out and I had NO coolant left. I thought to myself "I'm not gonna let that happen to me again...I'm gonna fix this." So I filled up my car with coolant. All was well...and then...I went on the highway and noticed that my hood was bouncing more than normal. The latch is broken...Yes that's right, the latch is broken. I have Duct Tape holding my ghetto mobile together. Nice, huh? I think it's a sign that I'm NOT supposed to skate...lol.

There we go...nice huh?

lol

Flying high defying gravity...
