I just learned today that Polysorbate 60 and Sorbic Acid, two very common food additives, are both derived from petroluem. So, essentionally, when you consume a packaged food containing these ingredients, you are ingesting crude oil. Also, titanium dioxide, also a popular food additive, is a main componant of white paint, acting as a brightner and anti-coagulent.
Is there any wonder why cancer rates are sky-rocketing?
I became a vegetarian a year ago out of my love for animals and my disgust for the fatteners and antibioitics pumped into God's creatures. And now it's time for another change. From now on, if it is not pulled directly from the ground and grown in an organic fashion, I will not eat it.
Perhaps to avoid paying high gas fees, we should start putting Twinkies in our fuel tanks. After all, it contains the same ingredients...
