2014 in review: RETURN OF THE WHEAT

I'm wheat. Sorry, folks, I got trapped in 1999 for a while.

2014's been... a strange year. Up until the past month, it was met with mostly stagnation and an inability to push myself toward things.

No college semester. They want money that I can't pay yet because I pulled a class from last semester's roster. I'm honestly wondering if it's worth higher education beyond community colleges in this economic landscape.

I did a shitload of work on cleaning up my own living environment, though. I partly decided to shove this big task somewhat because I know that I'd just be too wiped to do anything if I didn't take care of it prior to hunting down what I'll probably end up having to settle for a really frustrating, exhausting job that hardly gets me anywhere.

My sleep's still fucked up beyond belief. I guess I still have time to fix this.

Creativity has been on the rise again these past few months. I've been working on quests again, despite LTTS2 being a paused project for now. Maybe once things look up a bit more and it doesn't practically bring me back to the very last time my life felt like my life was together, I'll pick it back up.
There's also WL2Editor now: basically, a game I've been wanting to play with for a decade has been opened up to me. Maybe I'll finish a thing.

Music has been even more of a thing this year: I've seen seven bands at three different shows (Dream Theater, Exodus/Suicidal Tendencies/Slayer, Red Fang/In Flames/Opeth), and I've generally been exploring the hell out of new things. It's the one way I haven't been stagnating this year.

This is a really half-baked post because... there's not much to talk about. 2014 was a bunch of nothing, generally, and it's fucked me up majorly. Here's to escaping it in 2015. This past month is a good start.
