life is a highway
I was gonna post a journal a few days ago but I've been busy so here are my excuses for taking so long to do this: On Friday I was at work all day and after work I went to the Docks for the DC demo. The demo was done by the time I got there. There were no signs but I did find the place. It was inside some building next to the Docks drive in. The DC bus was parked on the street but the only people around looked like they were dressed to go clubbing and then some skate were walking away from the place. So me and Self-Serve went to Etobicoke to watch the Terminal because it was the only ok movie that was just starting when we got there.
On Saturday I woke up at 7:30am to go to work for some stupid big sale. I felt sick and tired all morning and then at lunch time they bought us kfc and sent me home because we weren't busy enough. So I went shopping in the mall and bought 4 golf shirts while I waited for the DC team signing to start. I'm sure I was the oldest one at the signing and probablly the only girl too, but I was the only one who got the DC dvd signed. Then Deanne and Ilissa came to get me and they parked next to the DC bus in the parking lot. At night me, Ilissa and Sarah hit up Port Credit for the Mississauga Street Festival, where we had to pay $10 to get in and we got our $10 worth because we saw Tom Cochrane in concert, front row. The best was the drunk dancing cougars yelling Life is A Highway all night long.
Sunday I went to work and then after that I went to the Allister, Kiros, Mugshot and Fallen Year show at the Rockit with Iliisa and Sarah. Allister was so good. The whole front row was me and a bunch of girls. I took so many pictures and a lot of video clips too. I got a nice Allister shirt too.
Monday I worked and watched my Allister videos all day. On Tuesday I painted my room. It's colour washed with two blues on top and a brownish colour on the bottom. I've got a border too that I'll put up whenever it's not on backorder from the US.
