Seriously though, it's nice to see the PS3 getting some play... or work? Work! That could be just the angle marketers should use this Christmas. "The Sony WorkStation 3. Give the gift of advanced computation to the scientist in your life this holiday season." And, considering how cost-prohibitive the PS3 has been for many gamers, it's most unexpected but certainly not ironic that one man's expensive console is another man's bargain-barrel supercomputer.
