Elwood summer

Jun 01, 2008 12:22

I'm so annoyed with you right now. Constantly disrespecting my friends. That shit isn't going to fly anymore. Well, I'm back in Elwood for three days. It's been fun so far. I went to Kaysha's open house last night. The little one is all grown up. Today I'm going to Matthew's, Sarah's, and P. Morris'. It's going to be nice. My sister's in graduation, she's smart so she gets to stand up there and hand diplomas or something. We've been playing lots of basketball lately when I come to Elwood. We are pretty damn good. Currently, I'm king of HORSE and PIG. Ben's ass still holds 21. We also had a bonfire last night which was really fun. This kind of shit makes me wish I was still having summer here in town with all of my best friends. Oh well, school shit needs to be done. I start math June ninth. I moved into my friend Zach's basement. It's pretty sweet. He's giving it to me at a great price. All cleaned and ready to go. Wal-Mart is still fine. I might be getting transfered soon since lawn and garden will be dead soon. I hear thoughts about an unloading position. Yuck. Unloading the semi is not fun. A job is a job, though. I'll keep it. Brittany and I went to Turkey Run state park on Thursday. It was hella fun and hella nice. We went canoing too. It was sweet. The next time I think I'll be in Elwood is on the fourth and fifth of July. I know Elwood is not having fireworks this year, but it is still fun to come back and spend the holiday with family and friends. I'm going to start applying for internships soon. Penguin Books for starters. I wish my house had internet so that I could work on those and stuff while I'm at home after work or whatever. Oh well, most aren't due until February of next year so that gives me time during the school year to do them. I hope I pass math and I hope next semester isn't too hard. I got the student supervisor in training position at Hillenbrand dining court this coming semester. Pretty excited about that. Moving up in the world. Did I mention that I love "Arrested Development?" Well, I do. I've almost finished "Everything Is Illuminated" and I really like it to far. It's what I do on my hour breaks at work. Get my read on. I want to mow my yard, weird, huh? Hm, the next time I probably will post is either the next time I am home or during the school year. Having no internet at home is hard in West Lafayette. Like being back in the stone age.
