Okay, so...
I haven't updated in like 3 weeks. I haven't actually checked much of anything the past couple of weeks, including my e-mail which has like 500 unread messages.
Okay let's see... well, my art class ended, and it was actually really cool. I made a couple of new friends who I hope to continue to keep in touch with, even when my fall semester begins. I ended up (sadly) not being able to see the male model because I missed the only day he came. Oh well, I have fond memories of the female one.
The reason I haven't updated or bothered to check anything is because the week after my art class ended I was *incredibly* sick. It all started that Friday when one of my art friends, Mike, invited Cecilia and I to a party at his house. For some dumb reason I decided to play a drinking game on an empty stomach, and the next think you know I'm blowing chunks at 7am the following morning. Poor Cecilia was stuck half the day trying to take care of me, bless her precious heart. In my inebriated state my immune system must have been weakened because I caught the most awful fucking cold ever. By Sunday I had a horrible sore throat from throwing up too much and I was really congested and stuffed up. The whole week following that I physically could not drag myself out of bed before 3pm. Last week I was a little better and I finally managed to leave the house to get shit done, but I was still pretty sick. This week I'm doing okay, I still have the sniffles and a cough, but it's a lot better than it was before.
Actually, I've just spent this whole week trying to get ready for our trip on Saturday. We (meaning my mom, sister, dad, and myself) haven't been on a family vacation since I was 10, so I was never part of the packing/planning process. I never realized how utterly annoying and time consuming it is to get ready for a big trip, it feels like the minute you cross something off your to-do list another five things appear. But it's hard for me to be THAT annoyed, I'm too excited about actually going to San Diego. It is going to be super awesome. I'll have to remind myself to blog while I'm there so I can remember the experience exactly :}
