Moved in!
So, Sarah and I are all moved in! The "Shady Cady" apartment is turning out really nice. My old roommate Eddie stopped by for some BBQ and co-working from home time today and said "Looks like you're all moved in" as in, it looks like we've actually got a home here! I'm happy, I woke up today and knew where I was and felt like I was in *my* bed and it was a pretty exciting feeling. Other than that, I think my best friend is pissed at me, but I don't know why. I'll call him again in a little while and try to sort this out.
My brother graduates from Marine Corps. boot camp on Friday. I'm heading down to South Carolina for the festivities and such. Should be an interesting trip. He's coming back with me on the 13th, and there will be much BBQ + PBR + stories when he gets back. Hopefully I can re-socialize him enough to remind him of non-military life before he heads back 10 days later. I don't want him to loose too much grounding or disconnect with who he was before he went there.
Alright, off to watch some mythbusters and relax on the couch.
