So, I cleaned up all the twitter crap cause it was annoying me, so now I guess I have to actually post a real entry now. :P

Made $125 doing a focus group thing yesterday which actually turned out to be fairly fun. Then went to El Meson for a Spanish wine dinner with seafood tapas. Good stuff. Although they had some glasses that smelled like sweaty armpit. The staff thought we were making shit up till we made them smell them and suddenly out came the excuses. They blamed it on either the detergent (don't use detergent that smells like armpit) or storing mildewy rags by the glasses (yeah, that sounds like a bad idea too). Anyway, it was good times. Talked a lot of food shop with a fellow AiH culinary person I was sitting next to.

Speaking of AiH, started up the photography program last week. Sorta excited about it but it's starting soooooooooooooo s l o w l y. The studio lighting class hasn't given us an assignment yet so there's really nothing to do for it. Assignment wise, I have to take pictures of a sporting event this week, so if anyone has any suggestions (not the Astros) lemme hear em. I think I'm gonna shoot some Ultimate players Sunday, but a backup won't hurt. Also, in the (hopefully) near future I'll need models for the studio lighting class, so if anyone's interested, holler.

Saw Patrice Pike and Skyblue 72 last weekend. Jumped through the hoops to get a photopass but then it turns out they were letting in any joe schmoe with a camera. Yay? :P

Last month I went to Vermont to Fred X which was a music festival. Fred Eaglesmith was the headliner. Met up with a bunch of old friend from previous train trips. Realized yet again that small town living was not for me. :P

Speaking of train trips, didn't go on one this year but looks like next year we'll be taking a cruise in the Newfounland/Nova Scotia area with Fred so that should be fairly awesome. Never been on a cruise before.

Got to photograph the Terra Cotta warriors exhibit at the HMNS which was pretty neat. I'd seen most of the artifacts when I went to China but they were behind super think glass with horrible lighting or else very far away.

In more photography news, just got asked if the Via Colori folks could use 2 of my pics for a calendar they're making, so yay me on getting pictures actually physically published! :)

And... that's about all I can think of right now, so that's all you get. :P Maybe I'll actually keep this more updated now that I'm not relying on the twitter crutch. :)
