So... exciting news in my life?
Well, I have discovered that my BOM teacher is indeed almost as bad as Mr. White. Turns out Brother Facer was a psychology major as an undergrad - kinda like Mr. White... But as long as I get an A in the class, I don't care. Wasting my time in a bad class is bad enough, but when it also hurts my GPA...
Also, I have reawakened my addiction to books. In the past week I have finished The Picture of Dorian Gray, read Ella Enchanted, and read Persuasian. Dorian Gray was good, but over-rated. Ella Enchanted was even sweeter than I recalled it being, and Persuasian was good, but I had planned on watching Persuasion the movie as soon as I was done, and I can't find it anywhere. Hollywood, Blockbuster, the BYU Bookstore, and the BYU library don't have it! So I had to watch Sense and Sensibility in order to comfort myself. I also watched Pride and Prejudice last week.
Now, the latest news in my life - men are scum. I mean, really, they are. Especially Returned Missionary guys. They all act so sweet and nice, but underneath they're nothing but judgemental, hormone-driven swine. Apparently boys even look at a girl's FP: Fat potential! they don't just expect us to be skinny now, but we aren't allowed to even have the capability of gaining weight, should we stop exercising in the future. It seems that no matter how ugly a boy is here, he expects to marry a beautiful girl. Most don't seem concerned about intellect, and those who are concerned about intellect demand that a girl be both beautiful and intelligent - as if requiring both attributes makes those boys any les shallow. So, I've decided that I'm never going to marry. I mean, really. I've decided that, and I intend to stick to that decision.
