Back from Vegas for the Magic and Project shows-lots and lots and lots of work.
Magic is a well-established show with lots of vendors and representatives.
Project is a younger, more hip show with a great energy and vibe.
I'd much prefer going to Project over Magic-
There wasn't much chance for fun but I did make time on Saturday evening to see The Fab Four Live, and on Sunday evening to see Love again.
I walked out of
The Fab Four Live wishing it had been the real
Fab Four tribute group-and walked out of Love wishing I was turning right around to see the second show that night.
Monday night I was asked to attend a celebrity poker game wearing our clothing line.
When I arrived there were poker tables set up thru the ball room and the VP of Marketing asked if I knew how to play Texas Hold em'.
They were short a couple of players for a full set and asked if I would sit in.
Somehow I made it to the last table, and came in 9th out of 100 people.
Woo!
Tuesday night was the team dinner and an industry party.
Overall I don't think I would go for work again-
the hours are crazy, I'm sick with a cold, I'm exhausted, and I don't feel like I got much Vegas time in.
Next time I'll likely stay in the office and enjoy quiet time while everyone else is out of town.
