Hi, Haven't posted in a while.
Hi All,
Just realized I have not posted in a while, lots to update you on for sure. so please bare with me.
I moved out of my old apartment at the end of Oct, I've been wanting to do that for a long time, well at least since the end of last year. lots lead up to that. Anyways, Lots had to do with always getting shut off notices for various utilities cause the landlord did not pay them, repairs not getting done right, having to wait long times to get it even there. Landlord was constently in trouble with the law for something, Not having a yard for the dog, having to share the heat with two other apartments, and half the time it was not on, or it was on so high you had to have a window or fan on. The biggest thing was section 8 said they where dropping him from the program as all his tentants in all his buildings where getting shut off notices, and they where tied of all the complaints about him. I got my move out letter in Oct, I had 30 days to find a new place, but since Sept was trying to get moved to Texas, so was not to worried aobut it, but that fell through at the last minute but thankfully I found a place on the first floor with a great landlord, has two porches I share the one in the front with 5 others in the building, but I have one to my self on my side in the back. its long and really nice. except if its raining or the snow is melting you will get wet, as the slats are not close to gather tight. its fine though. all five of the cats are with me, Charlie went to a sheltie rescue he was not happy at the other place and at the time was not sure if I would be homeless or not. he's doing great there. will post about all that later on.
I love the new place,, I have to get all new furniture, and clothes among other things, I had given almost everything away or donated it so that I could move to texas, as my ride said there would not be a lot of room in the truck. what a joke. anyways, I will post about that later as well. so for now I have the end table, microwave, tv, and my bed to start as furniture, I just got a new couch, a washer for clothes so I'm living out of totes mainly. I'm not complaining cause I have a roof over my head, curtains on the windows, food in the fridge, and all my furbabies with me.
Out of Chaos, stress and everything else, came a calm, and less stress. I'm happy, safe and things are looking up.
