life aint so bad
i got promoted on tues, to specialist E-4. next rank is seargant. ill get that in a yr i hope. my wife is coming to visit me and ill finally get to touch her pregnant belly and kiss it. i love her so much that it kills me to only see her every 3 or 4 months. its hard on us but soon she will be living with me. before the baby is born.
i also was asked if i wanted to get off the ward and be in charge of infection control, be the command seargant major's assistant, or become assistant NCOIC of the floor i currently work at. either way i cant lose and ill have weekedns off.
now all i need is a vehicle and ill be well on my way of finally getting my life together and on my feet. my bills will soon be paid off and then ill have a whole other set of them when my child is born. there is so much stuff that i will need once my wife moves here and the baby is born. mostly furnishings and baby cloths, toys, and stuff.
anyway im happy and its been a long time since ive had such a positive outlook on my life. the other day i said, wow what a great day its been.
the only down side is that my class ends on the 20th and im behind so its crunch time. ill have to bust my ass if i want to pass. i really dont want to have to pay for the class.
