It's been smooth sailing lately...
I've been spending lots of time with Amber and things are going really well. She's my girlfriend now.
Since I have no classes, I've been sleeping in real late. I'm starting to feel a little unproductive, but I think I'll keep it up a little longer.
I'm having no problems at either job. Things are a little slow at the family business and my step mom is on me about trying to make the store more money, but my step mom being on my ass is nothing out of the norm.
I've gotten my tickets for both Gogol Bordello in June and Tom Waits in July. My dad even offered to get a hotel room for Amber and I when we go see Tom Waits, which surprises me because I can't remember the last time my dad gave me anything unless it was Christmas or my birthday.
The vegetarianism is going well also. Despite the free all meat Cinco de Mayo feast at Katie's apartments and this woman at the gas station that keeps offering me free hot dogs, I've held out strong. Besides those and a few more incidents, it really hasn't been too difficult. I might keep with it for awhile.
I've been biking a lot whenever Amber isn't over and I don't feel like hanging out. The other night I was out for nearly three hours. It really clears my head and it's nice to explore the area, there's a lot of really cool spots around I would have never known about. I'm going to try to join the next St. Pete Critial Mass when I find out when they ride.
But despite all this, I still want to take a road trip, or get away for awhile. If only school or work didn't get in the way...
