Last you heard of me I was terribly sick and miserable because of it. Well, lately I've replaced the miserable with ungodly busy. Due to the sick/and or busy and overall malaise, I never had time to sew the burlesque lobster costume. Next year, for sure! Later in the evening an older gentleman shoved his face into my bucket face and yelled "LOVE YOUR COSTUMES!!.. What are you?" at this point I realized it was the GOVERNOR OF MY STATE.
unfortunately my brick purse was SEVERELY rain damaged, this was it beforehand.
I was really impressed by the response we got. Some folks were genuinely upset that we didn't with the "best original couple" category in the costume contest. I had Wolverine fangirling all over me, now that's something you don't get to say every day. To quote someone dressed as Kanye West, "Imma letchu finish but you guys had the best Lego couple costume at the costume contest". I was also furiously molested by a unicorn drunk on PBR.
