One of my friends is moving out of her house and I've been thinking about moving out of this apartment. I love my place don't get me wrong but some days I hate going up 12 steps to get to it.. it would be nice to go in my front door and be there already. My girlfriend and I are talking about taking it. Although her (my GF)lease is up in December and her parents really don't like the idea of her moving in with me..her mom says she'll be a "slut"... I dunno about that one, I guess after she moves in we'll be sleeping around with other people or something? it's kinda confusing. anyway.. it would be great overall. at least a little change.

Friday is another opening.. another showing of my art. here's what I'm putting in for this month.

I feel like I'm heading in a different direction with my stuff. I'm not sure what it is yet. I'm really getting into it more and I'm sort of taking it more serious but not giving a shit at the same time. It's kind of hard to explain. Like I'm playing with a lot more material and just throwing stuff wherever the hell I feel, but I'm also concerned that work will interfere with my art time. I've called in alot so I could finish a piece or attend an opening and I don't think they fully understand and well they don't like it too well either. Art doesn't make sense to the logistics of Lowe's.

I used a lot of recycled material in this show.. The three panel piece is a window I found in the dumpster and the other ones are on boards, three of which are from kitchen cabinets, that were in the back yard of the gallery. and the visiting artist this month is the lady who was in charge of the gallery that I got to show at up in New York. So it's kind of cool.
