Something I drew recently which has nothing to do with the rest of this post, but I figured I'd leave it here nonetheless.

James and I exchanged gifts last night because he's leaving for family time in L.A. today. I am now the proud owner of a Wii along with Mario Kart and the New Super Mario Bros. :3

Here I am playing Mario Kart Wii for the first time - obviously concentrating very hard.

I got James this photo cable. The photos stick to it with magnets. Our Christmas cards are on display until he has a chance to curate some of his photos.

I drew this card for him at work yesterday.

I also got him this limited edition screenprint. The art is by Lisa Hanawalt, inspired by The Walking Dead (James' all-time favorite comic book - and of course he loves the new tv series too). It's signed by Lisa Hanawalt and Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.

Not pictured, but I also got him a set of three Henckels kitchen knives, tickets to see the Melvins at Great American Music Hall, and a promise to make some Lakers-themed artwork for him.

I have to work tomorrow (Christmas Eve), but my parents are coming to pick me up afterward, we'll probably hang out in my apartment for a while to drink some hot cocoa and play Wii, and then I get two glorious days in Campbell to hang out with them and my kitty and just relax.

These are some "gifts" I've bought myself recently. As I mentioned in my last post, one of my photos was used for the packaging of a new Diana camera by lomography. I was compensated with some credit for their online store, so I put it towards this Diana Mini En Rose.

It came with a flash and a little packet of color gels. :D

And a nice photo booklet.

I have also been going nuts buying Sailor Moon things at a dollar store down the street. No big deal, though, because each of these things was less than a dollar.

A set of cups.

A jar which I used to hold all the little paper stars I made a couple years ago.

A tiny magnetic address book. Festive!

And two tin pencil cases.

Each of them has lists of mathematical formulas on the inner compartments. /Nerd.

Anyway, Happy Holidays friends! I hope December is treating you all as well as it has been treating me.
