Noooo! Not The Girls!
It would seem that I have become a masochist lately... when it comes to watching anime.
Air (TV) is the latest anime that I have completed watching, and I was quite literally almost a sobbing wreck at the end of the marathon viewing. There were times of great laughter in the series, but it was still a poignant tragedy in the end. I am a total sucker when it comes to the character deaths of lovable girls.
The "Summer" arc in particular, was very heartwrenching to watch. You KNOW that Kanna is not going to have a happy ending, and yet... and yet a part of your heart wishes SO HARD that you will be proven wrong, even if it goes against all logic; and when she finally does die, you end up crying at the unfairness of it all.
Let me tell you... you have to be a totally heartless bastard to not emote a bit when watching Air.
Going to be watching Gundam Wing next... I need a break from drama anime for a while and get some action fix, least I turn into an emo.
