(no subject)
Sorry about the whole non updation thing. Yea, I'm only updating cause I don't want to do work.
Basically, since I last updated, I had awesome times back home, went back to school, had NSOP training, then OL-ness, meeting the froshies, reuniting with everyone, awesome times, yay.
This past weekend was awesome. Saturday = concert on the steps, MoMA party, and then Kate and I went to go see Sweet Charity. Sunday was chill, Central Park, dealt hold em at the lerner party, then went out. Yesterday was AMAZING!!! I went to Coney Island and had a blast. Yay.
Today was the first day of classes. Sucked.
Not really that bad actually. Just...blah.
Trying to get into this Spanish grammar class, and like 20 extra people showed up, but a bunch are freshman so I think the prof gives priority to upperclassmen [yay!] so I think I'll get a spot. Then I had Lit Hum...he let us go like 50 minutes early, which was cool. The prof seems ok...I really didn't want to do so much work for this class, but I don't think it'll happen. I already have a paper due next week. Oh yea, and I have a spanish composition due this friday, and I'm not even sure I'm in the class, how much does that suck. So yea, after Lit Hum I had like an hour to kill, so I ate some watermelon and read a bit more of the Iliad. Then I had ODE. The prof is funny, mainly because he sounds like the guys that answer the phone at Chinese take out places. I still fell asleep in class...ugh. After classes, I got raped by the bookstore, then had to carry my new heavy books up the stairs to my room cause the elevator wasn't working...fun. Then I walked around a lot, finally bought some notebooks and folders, and I've been chilling here since. Procrastinating the nasty amounts of reading I must do.
Oh yea, how I started off my day: showers here suck. There is little pressure to begin with. This morning, there was NO water. Like, at all. At first it was a trickle, and then just nothing. I really wanted my shower though. So I just kept turning it on and off. After like 10 minutes it finally worked, but I was really annoyed. Rawr.
Ok I'm gonna label my notebooks and fill my Brita in efforts to procrastinate more.
God I'm tired.
Tmrw = Physics [at 9.15, gross] and then Portuguese Lit in the afternoon. Maybe I'll nap in between <33. I think I'm doing auditions tmrw night too. We'll see.
Onwards and upwards! This semester better be good.
