sooo, lotsss has happened since I last updated...
For starters I fractured my elbow right before I left Spain.
The wedding was fun, even though I had a full arm cast.
Portugal is decent, very relaxing. Not as much going out as I planned, sice I was waiting for the cast to come off.
Today is the party, I gotta get showered and stuff soon.
I went to the hospital yesterday cause I had a note from the doctor in Spain to check my elbow, take x rays, take the cast off and give me something else. They didn´t do it cause they didn´t want to take the responsibility if something happened to my arm. They are willing to take it off the 16th, but only cause I leave the 17th. Their reasoning is that it´s healing fine the way it is and they don´t want to change anything. They said that since I´m over 18, I can decide to take it off myself but they won´t give me anything for it, they are worried I can hurt it more and then I´ll sue them or something. All I want is a smaller, less bulky and lighter cast, since mine is gross and dirty and smelling bad and making my back hurt. It was only made to last me 10 days, and its like falling apart. I think that next week sometime I´m going to a private orthopedic clinic and see if they can get me an air cast or something.
My beach plans are ruined, I was supposed to leave Monday morning. I don´t want to go anymore, there´s no point if I can´t go in the water, I´ll get some dumbass cast tan, and the sand will get in my cast and it´ll just get me more annoyed. Of course, that means I´ll be losing my mind up here in the middle of nowhere. Ugh, I´m really annoyed. Really pissed off at the medical people here.
Other than that...I haven´t gone out too much, I was waiting for the cast to come off. Hah. Most of my cousins leave Monday, so I dunno if I´ll be going out that much at all after that. I´m really annoyed, my whole vacation has gone to shit, and this was the part that I was looking the most forward to.
