(no subject)
Sorry that I've not gotten to reply to anyone's recent comments; I've been pretty busy really. Y'all are awesome, though, and I'll get to them soon.
Firstly, on Friday, Jasmine ambushed me in Economics class and thoroughly pissed off the IB students and the teacher. And then I invited her to stay, and that thoroughly pissed them off, too. After I got out of that class, we hung out for a while, and it felt like old times. It was so nice. We went and saw our old History teachers, and one of them wrote me a note excusing me for being thirty minutes late to my next class XD So I hung out for a bit, then Jasmine drove me to my next class, walked me to the door, and left. That was really nice and a brilliant surprise... I love that fucker so much.
Then I went home early (at lunch) because there was an assembly that day and I didn't feel much like going to it. Too noisy for me.
This weekend was a bore, honestly. Didn't do anything.
School today was good, though... I went and hung out with my hot-ass English teacher of course BUT I ACTUALLY CAUGHT HIM THIS TIME, and we had a nice conversation and he was really making an effort to get to know me, which was very nice of him. He also gave me this Egyptian themed notebook which is like the best present I could have gotten ever. It's like... a plastic cover with hieroglyphics and cool designs inside... I dunno. It's like a journal thing, he said he bought it for like $2 at a yard sale and was saving it for "someone who was a great writer" (ME!) lol. He also said he really liked my haircut and that it was fitting. It made me so happy. YOUR APPROVAL IS THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS, SIR
I mean, not really, but. I mean. You know. It's my schoolgirl crush, I'll do and say as I please.
Also, I'm bringing him some of our home-made salsa in the morning, because he asked for a jar!!! lol.
Do any of you listen to Right Away Great Captain? I have one of their songs (The one called "Right Away Great Captain", which I think is a little weird, but you know) and I really really like it. Just sayin'. Very pretty stuff.
I'm super overloaded with work since I missed half of Friday. Being a senior sucks so far! I mean, it's not that I'm dying or anything, it's just that it's a bore and so busy all the time.
My homework for tonight:
FORENSICS: Make a timeline about the history of forensics using a set list of events and dates (that I have to look up in the textbooks tomorrow since we're not even allowed to check them out and take them home! Agh!!)
PERSONAL FINANCE: Reorganize a budget, write a list of personal and financial goals
GOVERNMENT: Do a bunch of reading and a bunch of reflections.... oy.
I hate it. But that notebook that my teacher gave me smells really nice, like potpourri or something, and it's making my whole bedroom smell so nice.
