Neither Out Far Nor in Deep

I'm no music critic, but I know what I hate. The following are things I hate:

Hair Metal
Disco
Arena Rock
Contemporary Country
Nu Metal/Industrial/Goth-core
Gangster Rap
The Black Eyed Peas and all associated acts
Southern Rock
Your Favorite Band

Ok, that last one was just to be controversial.

If I could fight any person I think it would be Charlie Manson. Why? Because he's undeniably insane, but he's also a smug fuck, and that pisses me off. Where does he get off thinking he's not crazy? Also, he thinks he's so great, but he's a tiny little man, and I think I could beat the crazy right out of him. Also, I would like to fight Roman Polanski for EXACTLY THE SAME REASONS.

We officially have a feud with a neighbor now. He kept asking us to turn our outside light off after 11:30 (or so) because it shines in his bedroom window. This seems like a simple request, but Our Neighbor doesn't know that we run a flop house, and people are coming and going 24 hours a day. So we try -- but every time we forget, the neighbor makes a point of mentioning it to us. I have no problem turning out the light, but at the same time, c'mon guy, blinds are honestly $2.00 at Home Depot. Take some fucking initiative. Finally, Our Neighbor taped a very passive aggressive note to our door saying something like, "Could you PLEASE turn the OUTSIDE light OFF at 11:30 PM. Signed, THE BLUE HOUSE." So fine, we joked about how passive aggressive the note was, but we simply haven't turned the outside light on at all since (because we know we'll never remember to turn it off.) This went fine until some characters who shall remain anonymous, but whose names rhyme with "Gee" and "Leoff" got drunk and slapped the note to Our Neighbors second story bedroom window at 11:30 PM. When he stormed outside, irate, the two anonymous characters high-tailed it. So, our neighbor vented by yelling at Jenny (obviously, she's such a contentious character.) The next morning we found a sloppy drunk note penned by "Leoff" to Jenny that said, "Sorry you got scolled (sic) at for 'Gee' and I causing a prank."
