My wife and I want to thank you for... you know... not letting the monkey's out...

Oh, I figure I gotta let 'em out sometime... TODAY! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Today

What did I do today? Good question, me. I woke up. Then I watched Daredevil on HBO. Then I took pills and cut myself out of frustration with the knowledge that I can never get those two hours of my life back. Then I ate breakfst.

Sometime after that, I went to the dentist. Then I came home and talked to Riley online. So Riley drove to my house with some girl named Rachel. But then she got her period or something and decieded she didn't want to hang out with us. So Riley and I drove to Flat Rock and went rock jumping and had conversations about life. And I didn't slip and fall on the ice, but rather, completely under my own power, I laid down on the ice for a rest.

After that we went to watch Joey, Steve Russo, James G. and James L. "jam." It was fun. Then Riley and I got in my car, and Joey and James L. got in James' car, and we drove to the Atomic Cafe in Beverly. We had a contest to see who could be the bigger asshole while driving. It was a close race, but I think I won when I almost hit James trying to pass him on the right on a small street in Beverly. I ordered a Chicken Salad Sandwhich on White Bread Grilled with Munster Cheese and Lettuce. It was good. We sat in the cafe for a long time and talked and laughed and all was well with the world.

Then we took the LONG way home from Beverly (the way that doesn't involve the highway... the Hamilton-Wenham way, not the Manchester way. I think that ends the interesting part of my day.

I'm watching Big-O and they just said "mega deuce." Hee hee hee, mega deuce. I've made a mega deuce or two in my day.

If those monkey's got out they'd be running this town inside a week.

I think I found my new livejournal theme and by theme I mean thing that I do that no one finds funny but me and that I keep doing until it is run into the ground. Also, I think only Riley will get the joke anyway.

I am trying to think of something clever to say that will make people want to leave a comment. When people leave comments on my entries, it makes me happy. But I've been told my entries aren't exactly "comment worthy." Maybe I am missing the point of livejournal.

My top five fovorite breakfast cereals:
1. Honey Bunches of Outs with Almonds
2. Rasin Nut Bran
3. Rice Krispies
4. Kellog's Rasin Bran
5. Kellog's Rasin Bran Crunch

I think I have the most bland taste in breakfast cereals ever. I CANNOT STAND sugar cereals. They make my teeth hurt and make me feel sick.

My top five favorite TV shows:
1. Fururama
2. The Simpsons
3. The Daily Show
4. Family Guy
5. Most Extreme Elimination Challenge

Family Guy would be higher on the list, but I have seen every episode too many times. When new epiodes come out, it will move closer to the top.

My top five favorite TV shows that are no longer on TV:
1. Strangers With Canday
2. The Upright Citizens Brigade
3. The Tick (is The Tick still on Comedy Central's animation block? I don't know.)
4. Viva Variety
5. Let's Bowl

There are about a hundred shows I am probably leaving out. Whenever I really love a show, it seems to get cancelled. Why must everything I love die? Also, I didn't include The Critic, Duckman, or The Kids in the Hall because they are still on Comedy Central in reruns. I also just noticed that all five shows were on Comedy Central. "Frank Goes to the Orient" is a close six... Ok, not really. Did anybody actually see that show? I think it got cancelled before it premiered. I wish they'd put "Let's Bowl" out on DVD, but I think I am the only person who watched that show.

My top five vintage Star Wars action figures (that I own):
1. Lando Calrissian
2. Lando Calrissian in Jaba's Palace disguise
3. Sand Trooper (I know it's wrong, but they're just so cool)
4. Han Solo
5. Endor camo Princess Leia

It has just come to my attention that I am a dork.

My top five Star Wars spacecraft:
1. X-Wing, by far
2. Millennium Falcon
3. Star Destroyer (just so cool)
4. Snow Speeder
5. Imperial Shuttle

I don't own any Star Wars vehicles, with the one exception of the Scout Trooper Speeder Bike.

Top five worst movies I have ever seen:
1. Gigli
2. Manos Hands of Fate
3. The Last Minute
4. The Blair Witch Project
5. The Time Machine

I'm sure I have seen worse, but I am too lazy to think of any more.

My top five cartoons ever on Nickelodeon:
1. The Secret World of David the Gnome
2. Rocko's Modern Life
3. Spongebob Squarepants (Spongebob and Rocko both the work of Stephen Hillenberg)
4. The Fairly Odd Parents
5. Invader Zimm

I didn't know if I should count "Kablam!" as a cartoon. Once again, I'm sure there are more, but... lazy. Also, three of those cartoons premiered after I was in high school...

My top five comic strips:
1. The Far Side (duh)
2. Red Meat
3. Robotman (back when it was still Robotman)
4. Foxtrot
5. The Boondocks

My five least favorite comic strips:
1. Family Circus (oh Bil Keane and your Christian Propaganda)
2. Cathy
3. B.C. (More Christian Propaganda - even though the title is B.C.)
4. Judge Parker (it's never even funny)
5. For Better or Worse

I'm sure there are ones I hate more in the Sunday paper, but I don't read them enough to remember any.

Well, it is now officially quarter past two. I think it's about time I hit the ole dusty trail. Once again, I ask you overlook the glaring spelling errors laced throughout this entry. I am a terrible typist, and spell check is for sissies. Alright, goodnight everybody... or anybody who might read this.

MIKE
