dancing the night away
Last night was absolutely killer. Az and I went to the Planet of the Drums tour which was playing at Paradox. On any other night, I would not have been caught dead at Paradox, but this was an absolute exception and i will admit they have a pretty good sound system. Planet of the Drums consisted of some of the most well known drum and bass DJs, one being my absolute favorite: AK1200. My only tiff was that K. Russel started out the night with some heavy beats which set the tone of the night. Even though the beats were dark, I danced my asss off. I never feel so in touch with the music as I do listening to either jungle or D&B...and ive said it before it speaks to me, hits me in the heart, this music is god.
The vibe was also awesome, it wasnt too crowed and everyone was enjoying themselves as much as I was. Plus no one looked fucked up...well maybe tipsy but in a bar that was serving dollar wells thats tolerable.
