My life has had it’s up and downs. I can’t help it that I have stuff in my life that I tend to hide from most people because well it’s none of their business and also I don’t believe that the past needs to be revealed to all. I’m currently a senior here at Brackenridge High School. I’m also one of the two drum majors for the band. I play random percussion instruments and tuba. I also do colorguard stuff when needed. I love ska music. It’s a great type of music to listen to because it’s so upbeat and you can’t help but tap your foot and get up and skank. (Skanking is the type of dance that is danced when ska music is playing.) Ska shows are also the best.
I’m a very happy and cheerful person and I always look on the up side of things. No matter how bad the situation might be I always seem to look on the bright side of things. From my experiences in my life, I have realized that looking at the negative side of living is not always the best way to live life. Well for once, you never know when life will be taken away and that you should live life to the fullest and not hold back. You shouldn’t regret anything because you only have one life, LIVE IT!
When I graduate high school I plan to go off to college as far away as possible. The reason for wanting to leave the city and/or state is because I need to explore the world and see what it has to offer me. I don’t want to stay here and regret not going to a college off in another city and/ or state. I know my grandma and sister want me to stay as close as possible to home, but it just doesn’t seem right to me at the moment. Maybe later on in the year my opinion will change and I will plan to stay in San Antonio, but for now I’m looking for college as far off as France.
