Back for sale, slightly used
I was fine for most of yesterday, but from about dinner on, my back was giving me fits -- enough so that I could barely move without a great deal of pain. It got better later on, but that was likely due to the combination of painkillers and muscle relaxant that I took. It feels better today, but still hurts.
Thank god that I'm going to see the chiropractor today. It's been way too long.
So I didn't get much done last night that didn't involve being in a persistent state of vegetation. Didn't watch the debate, though -- the whole election has me stressed out enough that I can't. 20 more days -- I'll be very glad when it's over. I just hope that the country pulls its collective head out of its ass and doesn't hand the reigns over to Mitt the corporate shill.
Making some progress on the Project, mostly making some overall decisions. I've decided I'm not going to talk about it much for now -- too often I've gone gang-busters on something, then seen something else, said "shiny!" and gotten distracted. Going to do my damnedest not to do that with this.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program -- in my case, working on the Italian translation of one of my engineering docs (not my translation, thank god -- my Italian's not even close to being good enough, but I can sort of read it. I've lost a lot since grad school.)
