It's not the streets

Were it to actually stop raining, I'd go for a walk downtown. I just want to get out of the goddamn house. The ice doesn't freak me out, or the condition of the streets - I just don't want to be soaked and freezing cold. I can handle one or the other, but not both.

On the bright side, being stuck inside means I got the downstairs floor cleaned with rugs vacuumed and nasty stains scrubbed off the floor. The basement office is slowly getting cleaned up as I pull together records and stuff and try and figure out what needs to be sold, what needs to be thrown away, and what needs to be put away.

There's a mail crate of cds waiting to be ripped, another mail crate of records that need sleeves so they can get shelved, a satchel full of cds that need cases, tools that could stand to be organized, and random slips of paper that I'm not sure of their purpose. I'm cleaning up my hard drive first, however.

Oh... and I hope to fucking hell that the Agent Orange show doesn't get cancelled tonight. After pimping that sucker on the radio and MySpace blog for the past month or so, I do not want to bundle up, go downtown, and discover that there's no show. I changed my work schedule to attend that show, dammit.

chores, cleaning, live music, records
