My aching back
To do the front part of our lawn - and not even the whole front, just the part from the street to the sidewalk - took 45 minutes. I finished, said "fuck this," and headed down here to the basement to cool off.
Just as I finished getting the receiver hooked up to the computer, and started puzzling as to why I'm only getting the left channel, the doorbell rang. Our across the street neighbor was kind enough to offer me the use of his mower, since our grass is damn-near knee-high, and thus too tall for any sort of easy work with the reel mower.
So, when he's done with his lawn, he's gonna let me borrow his, and I ought to be able to knock out our lawn in about half an hour. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
