Ignoring you
At the moment, I'm concentrating on making my posts over at nuthouseblog a little better. The whole concept behind the blog was that I'd offer personal stories to relate to the music about which I was posting... the fact that I'd have something to say, either positively or negatively, or that I'd have some sort of connection to the material.
That's been lacking lately, and I've been posting perfunctory stuff that I don't feel represents what I can do as a writer, and if I can't come up with something unique, what's the fucking point? There isn't one, hence the concentration on that blog as opposed to this one.
This is to say nothing of the tons of good books I've been getting from the library lately, the numerous good shows coming up, the shake up at work, and the discovery of Wargus, which allows me to play Warcraft II in XP. The books and gaming are going to kick my ass, and the writing needs some serious focus.
The writing ought to get some help if the idea of a writing group that Misty Nuckolls through out ends up happening, and doesn't become an excuse for a bunch of word monkeys to sit around, drink, and gripe about why we're not famous yet. Although, y'know... a support group could always help.
