Sundays are cruel

Since I work pretty much every Monday, I have to churn out three or four posts on Sunday and schedule them to post the next day. This requires digging into the depths of the web and my e-mail inbox to find something - anything - for Monday morning. It does not result in the best posts some days.

Our garden produced two gallons of cherry tomatoes, which have been washed and stashed in the freezer. The bag that had been in there is now defrosting. It will be used to make salsa later this afternoon, since the_lucky_nun went and got some cilantro at the store.

Other than that? I think we're gonna grill some pork chops and chicken thighs this evening. I'm not planning on doing much today, now that I've eked out three posts for tomorrow. We were in KC at Harry's Country Club for Scott Wilson's birthday thing, and I'm lagging behind in energy. Hung out with some folks from the Pitch and talked with Mike Alexander for a bit, too. The food was pretty suck, and the drinks were overpriced, but the company made up for it.

This week looks to be pretty busy on the show front. Tomorrow night is the Shitty Limits at Love Garden, and I might try and hit Over Stars and Gutters at the Replay afterwards. Tuesday (in theory) is Warped Tour, provided the "isolated thunderstorms" don't ruin everything. Brutally Frank is playing at Duffy's Saturday.
